New Yahoo Group Guidelines

Based on the results of a poll taken of current list members, new guidelines for our Yahoo Group have been established.

The following types of messages will generally be approved:

  • Messages from The Management Group about neighborhood news and issues
  • Requests/Recommendations for home-related services
  • General requests for local information
  • Items for sale / looking to buy
  • Advertising for non-profit events that residents are involved with. Your message must include information about how you are related to the group.
  • Advertising for businesses owned by residents, no more than once a month. Again, please remember to state your relationship to the business.

The following will generally not be approved:

  • Complaints/compliments about neighbors. These should be directed to the neighbor, and if that is not possible, to The Management Group
  • Business advertising more than once a month
  • Advertising for businesses not owned by residents
  • Social coupons.

Our Yahoo Group is a great way to stay informed and get good local information. If you are a resident and not yet a member, you can find instruction on how to join on our Email List page.
